Spirit Animal Hats
Playful interactive wearables used to express the wearer's personnality

We've been given the task to design and create a body part specific wearable. In our team of three, we ended up researching hat history, in particular hats involving animal or nature components. In the end, we made two animal hoods.

The affectionnate dog hood likes to be petted :D ! Some areas of the fur has been changed into stoke sensors. Whenever one of the stoke sensor is activated, the tail on the back starts wagging.

The brave bunny hood can change color based on its environment. It contains a color sensor at the end of one ear. When this sensor detects a color, the LED strip in the hood changes accordingly.

My role for this project was to make, sew, code, wire and assemble the bunny hood.
